Only half mine… { 4 }

So I recently discovered a badass artist named Pat David, and I’ve been coloring an (unfinished?) piece he did.  I realized I haven’t posted anything I’ve colored with really good (as in not my own) lineart.  So Mr. David was awesome enough to let me post my full color version of…

Wolverine!

If I actually post more stuff I’ve done for/with/to other folks art, I’ll probably make a new section in the gallery so people don’t think I’m trying to claim (better) stuff as ALL my own.

Yeah, I know.  Thrilling site management.  I’ll STFU now.

    So, are these colors inspired by the original wolverine colors or by wolverine’s return from his yellow brown colors? I think these colors look better, but given that wolverine is a bad-ass ninja with claws, it begs the question, would a bad-ass ninja really wear bright blue? I dunno… maybe he is just that good that it doesnt matter.

    I love this work, the wolverine in the fog is inspired by God. I wonder how many times in his life Pat David drew Wolverne to get him right. I live in Alaska, but never saw a wolverine outside of the zee. I did get attacked by a flightless ptarmigan cross-country skiing though. I thought I would have stab it with my poles. Good luck, God bless.
